HIDDEN THINGS

*** Our God is a lover of secrets and hidden things which He wants us to search out:

Deu 29:29 "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.

Psa 25:14 The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.

Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

*** We are striving to become kings and priests [Rev. 5:10], so shouldn’t we learn to “dig out hidden treasure”?

Col 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself,

*** The hidden things are of many different types: jots, tittles, acrostics, equidistant letter sequence [ELS], gematria, and—word pictures! Some are well concealed; others are glaring “signs”.

WHY BOTHER with all this “cute” stuff? If you just think about it a little, you will see that the mentality required to merely incorporate all these things within and underneath the surface text is so far above human capacity that it is supremely ridiculous to try to classify the Bible alongside any other book! Yet, with all these, the surface text itself reads like a book—yet with four different levels of understanding. What more does it take to convince us of its authenticity and authority?

*** Many people have take the stand that we shouldn’t even have the book of Esther in the Bible, or that we have no business celebrating Purim [some of us have heard it called “Jewish silliness”]. The key claim they make is that the name of God (hwhy YHVH) doesn’t appear in the book. However....just because it isn’t on the surface text doesn’t mean it’s not there! Let’s look at some ACROSTICS that are relatively visible to the Hebraic eye:

Est 1:20 And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honor, both to great and small.

*** In the underlined segment, the first letters of each word, going left to right, spell out YHVH:

Est 1:20 ונשׁמע פתגם המלך אשׁר־יעשׂה בכל־מלכותו כי רבה היא וכל־הנשׁים יתנו יקר לבעליהן למגדול ועד־קטן׃

Est 5:4 And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.

יבוא המלך והמן היום אל־המשׁתה אשׁר־עשׂיתי לו׃

Est 5:13 "Yet all of this does not satisfy me every time I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate."

Est 5:13 וכל־זה איננו שׁוה לי בכל־עת אשׁר אני ראה את־מרדכי היהודי יושׁב בשׁער המלך׃

Est 7:7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.

Est 7:7 והמלך קם בחמתו ממשׁתה היין אל־גנת הביתן והמן עמד לבקשׁ על־נפשׁו מאסתר המלכה כי ראה כי־כלתה אליו הרעה מאת המלך׃

*** Note the perfect symmetry of the four acrostics—and 4 is the “Messianic number”!

*** As for celebrating the two days of Purim, are we not allied with these descendants?

Est 9:27 the Jews established and made a custom for themselves and for their descendants and for all those who allied themselves with them, so that they would not fail to celebrate these two days according to their regulation and according to their appointed time annually.

*** While looking for these occurrences of the YHVH name, I started noticing that there were lots of those untranslated alef-tavs in the book. I counted by hand several times, then realized that a search by E-Sword would show the tally. It matched my count—75. I believe this is a revealing number:

· The digits of 75 are powerful in themselves; 7 signifies the perfect plan of God. And 5 is the number of grace and mercy. Added together, they total 12—the government of God!

Act 7:14 "Then Joseph sent word and invited Jacob his father and all his relatives to come to him, seventy-five persons in all.

*** This hearkens to one of those supposed “discrepancies” in the Bible—the fact that the numbers only add up to 74!

Exo 1:5 All the persons who came from the loins of Jacob were seventy in number, but Joseph was already in Egypt.

Gen 46:2 God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, "Jacob, Jacob." And he said, "Here I am."

Gen 46:3 He said, "I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you a great nation there.

Gen 46:4 "I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph will close your eyes."

*** So, as I am thinking, this number shows the very real but unseen presence of YHVH in the text of the Book of Esther, a book which—on the surface—was perhaps a historical entry in the archives of the Persian Empire. Think about this statement:

Est 10:2 And all the accomplishments of his authority and strength, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Media and Persia?

*** But....before we leave Esther: there is something hidden in the name itself! When the Persians renamed Hadassah [Myrtle] Esther, they were giving her their form of the sex goddess’ name (which comes down in English as Easter). However, God was seeing something else! When Esther is transliterated from Farsee to Hebrew, it is:

rtsa = rts + a

· rts [satar] is the root meaning “to hide; conceal; make secret”. Add the alef to produce Esther, and it is saying “I hide; I conceal”. Thus, God was saying, “This beautiful girl is my hidden one for such a time as this!”

*** When Moses first went before the Pharoah, it would be about 500 years before David founded the city of Jerusalem—The City of the King, and world capital of the Millenial Reign. Did YHVH have any idea about it at that time?

Exo 4:22 "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD, "Israel is My son, My firstborn.

*** Beginning with the yod of beni (my son), marking every third letter, you have Y-R-SH-L-M—the basic consonants of JERUSALEM! This is an example of ELS (equidistant letter sequence). The sequence is always a number with special significance in the Bible: 3, 7, 50, 153, etc..... In the 1990’s some mathematicians and statisticians learned to program supercomputers with precise questions and got fantastic results [often controversial!].

*** One example rabbinic scholars were able to find long ago laboriously counting by hand concerned the Torah. Starting with the first tav in Genesis and marking every 50^th letter, it continued until it spelled out the word Torah. Same with Exodus. Numbers and Deuteronomy were the same except it spelled backwards!...haroT.... It is like the peripheral four books are acting like the dish satellite reflector concentrating the power on the receptor out in the middle. Except here the central book is Leviticus, and it has an ELS of 7 so that, starting with the first yod in the book, it spells out YHVH!

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

*** Jots are words marked for scrutiny by lines of dots over them. A tittle is probably best described as being when something weird is done to a Hebrew letter: enlarged, made small, floating, turned backwards, or even normal but put where it’s not supposed to be. Let’s look at one from the powerful Messianic prophecy in Isaiah:

Isa 9:6 For³⁵⁸⁸ unto us a child³²⁰⁶ is born,³²⁰⁵ unto us a son¹¹²¹ is given:⁵⁴¹⁴ and the government⁴⁹⁵¹ shall be upon⁵⁹²¹ his shoulder:⁷⁹²⁶ and his name⁸⁰³⁴ shall be¹⁹⁶¹ called⁷¹²¹ Wonderful,⁶³⁸² Counselor,³²⁸⁹ The mighty¹³⁶⁸ God,⁴¹⁰ The everlasting⁵⁷⁰³ Father,¹ The Prince⁸²⁶⁹ of Peace.⁷⁹⁶⁵

Isa 9:7 Of the increase⁴⁷⁶⁶ of his government⁴⁹⁵¹ and peace⁷⁹⁶⁵ there shall be no³⁶⁹ end,⁷⁰⁹³ upon⁵⁹²¹ the throne³⁶⁷⁸ of David,¹⁷³² and upon⁵⁹²¹ his kingdom,⁴⁴⁶⁷ to order³⁵⁵⁹ it, and to establish⁵⁵⁸² it with judgment⁴⁹⁴¹ and with justice⁶⁶⁶⁶ from henceforth^4480,
6258 even forever.^{5704, 5769} The zeal⁷⁰⁶⁸ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ of hosts⁶⁶³⁵ will perform⁶²¹³ this.²⁰⁶³

***H4766 מרבה marbeh ; properly increasing; as noun, greatness, or (adverbially) greatly: - great, increase.

[But in the Masoretic scroll it is spelled hbr~: the mem at the head of the word is the final type!]

Luk 2:5 [Joseph went] To be taxed⁵⁸³ with⁴⁸⁶² Mary³¹³⁷ his⁸⁴⁶ espoused³⁴²³ wife,¹¹³⁵ being⁵⁶⁰⁷ great with child.¹⁴⁷¹

***G1471 ἔγκυος egkuos eng'-koo-os; swelling inside, that is, pregnant: - great with child.

"Waters" in the Bible symbolizes peoples. All human beings begin in waters--the amniotic fluid of the womb.

*** Though the Jewish scholars wouldn’t acknowledge it this glaring tittle was announcing the virgin birth centuries before it happened.

*** Let’s now take a brief look at gematria. In ancient languages, certain or all the letters of the alphabet had mathematical values. Thus, the letter values of a word or name can be added up to derive a number with meaning:

*** Nimrod [Gen. 10:8] founded the counterfeit religious system that continues, and many call it’s latter end the “Antichrist”. Let’s look at the value of the name Nimrod [drmn]:

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

*** Now...look at the value of rwts [Saturn—“the Hiding One”], the chief Chaldean title for Nimrod:

*** The word picture I get is: “He twists and perverts the covenant sign that attaches us to the Highest Person [Yeshua]”.

· Not only has this system perverted the eternal covenant sign—the Shabbat—but in English and some other languages, the very name has been replaced by that of Saturn: “Saturn’s Day”, shortened to....Saturday!

*** Let’s back up and look at this matter of word pictures from a more basic approach:

*** The Beresheit/Genesis account shows that Elohim gave the first humans a language. At the Tower of Babel, all were still of “one language and one speech” [Gen. 11:1], but it was scrambled so that each of the 70 families had its own language. Thus, they had to disperse into the earth.

· For each to have a separate linguistic form, only 69 new ones had to be produced; pure logic, coupled with Biblical evidence, makes the case that the family of Eber—the “Hebrew”—kept the original speech.

*** The 22 letters of the original language express the basic thought processes of God by which He formed the whole universe. Scientists have come to understand that there are about 20 or a few more “control knobs” or “algorithms” by which the physical universe operates:

Heb 1:2 in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages;

Heb 1:3 who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the Word [the Alef-Tav] of His power....

Heb 11:3 By faith we understand the ages to have been framed by the Word of God, so that the things seen should not come into being out of things that appear. [LITV]

· The “concreteness” of Hebraic thinking [vs. the “abstractness” of Greek-type] is shown in that Hebrew writing is both phonetic and pictorial. Each letter in a word gives a picture or concept, and all of them together create a word picture. For instance, take the word for elephant:

*** Word picture: “An elephant has a mouth that extends out like a rod and can be used like a hand to pick up something.”

*** A similar word illustrates that sometimes there is a small Hebrew word inside a long one, and it contributes to the word picture. Let’s look at the word vwrp [PAROSH]: the “ro” in the middle is the Hebrew word for evil. As we saw, the pey on the front is a mouth. The sheen on the end is a strong set of teeth. Thus, the word picture is:

*** Word picture: “That old Serpent who surrounds life so as to devour and destroy it!”

* The letter sheen/seen (X) in many instances lifts to a higher level, “The Destroyer of the Door”—El Shaddai—God Almighty, who can knock down any door or gate and go in. So let’s look at the word Shabbat [Sabbath]: tbX

*** Word picture: “The Almighty God has given an eternal covenant sign to His chosen family.”

Exo 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

*** By the time of Solomon, a new type of writing had been developed [some say that Solomon himself, understanding how the western sort of mind operates, invented it for his good friend and associate, King Hiram of Tyre]. This Phoenician system was written left-to-right, the opposite of Hebrew. It was totally phonetic [phonic and phonetic come from Phoenician], and had written vowels. The letters, however, were patterned after those of Hebrew. The Greek alphabet was patterned after the

*** We mentioned “signs” earlier: many of us feel that signs involve gematria and word pictures. Indeed, we are admonished to discern the “SIGNS OF THE TIMES” [Mat. 16:3].

*** The Bible many times speaks of signs of various sorts, including “signs in the heavens”.

Gen 1:14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years;

· Here, in the first instance, “signs” are mentioned ahead of seasons, days, and years. Could there be signs in some of the things we are right now beholding?

· Last fall, just before Sukkot, a comet visible only in powerful telescopes exploded to 500,000 times or more its former brightness so that it was visible to the naked eye on up into January!

· It flared up under the sword-wielding arm of the constellation Perseus—called Peretz (“the Breaker”) in Hebrew.

· The constellation is pictured as Peretz holding his sword aloft in one hand and carrying the severed head of a monster in the other. Out in front of him is his bride-to-be (Andromeda in Greek), but she is imprisoned by chains.

· The monster head makes up the little constellation known by the Arabic name Al

Ghoul [“the Evil Spirit”]. The chief star in it is named Rosh Satan—meaning Head of Satan.

*** Peretz [Pharez in KJV] is the royal line of Judah that produced David, and—ultimately the Messiah Yeshua. Viewed as David, this constellation shows him carrying the just-severed head of Goliath, thereby freeing Israel (the Bride of YHVH) from impending Philistine domination. As Yeshua, it shows him having figuratively decapitated haSatan, so that His bride is now freed and ready for the Wedding Supper!

· The path of Comet Hyakutake passed through the forehead of Al Ghoul on April 10, 1996. Exactly one year later, Comet Hale-Bopp’s path intersected the same spot. On January 12, 2008, this recent comet did exactly the same! This is the spot where David’s slingshot stone hit Goliath....

[Might we get the idea the Satan is being targeted and that his time is short?]

*** The name of this spectacular comet that appeared last October is 17 P Holmes. Let’s do some gematria and word picturing with this name and see if maybe there is a message in it:

*** Word picture: “Yeshua the Messiah says, ‘I am about to lead you out of the chaos of this twisted, perverted mess!’”

*** 3 years ago I discovered that the names in the book of Ruth produce astounding word pictures. Let’s look at a few of them:

*** Chilion derives from chiliah, meaning kidney; so, we can see he died of kidney disease!

*** The first 3 letters form the word meaning behead; break or cut off the neck; the “hey” on the end often has the meaning “that which comes from....”
