THE CHANGED EARTH

Isa 41:15 "Behold, I have made you a new, sharp threshing sledge with double edges; You will thresh the mountains and pulverize them, And will make the hills like chaff.

Isa 41:17 "The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none, And their tongue is parched with thirst; I, the LORD, will answer them Myself, As the God of Israel I will not forsake them.

Isa 41:18 "I will open rivers on the bare heights And springs in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water And the dry land fountains of water.

Isa 41:19 "I will put the cedar in the wilderness, The acacia and the myrtle and the olive tree; I will place the juniper in the desert Together with the box tree and the cypress,

Isa 41:20 That they may see and recognize, And consider and gain insight as well, That the hand of the LORD has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isa 40:4 "Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley;

Nah 1:5 Mountains quake because of Him And the hills dissolve; Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, The world and all the inhabitants in it.

Nah 1:6 Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire And the rocks are broken up by Him.

Nah 1:7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.

*** A great deal of the change seems to be from a tremendous earthquake which occurs when the 7^th angel dumps his bowl:

Rev 16:18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.

Rev 16:19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.

Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Zec 14:4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south.

*** This event, along with others, will facilitate the return to the Land by the two houses of Israel:

Isa 11:15 And the LORD will utterly destroy The tongue of the Sea of Egypt; And He will wave His hand over the River With His scorching wind; And He will strike it into seven streams And make men walk over dry-shod.

Isa 11:16 And there will be a highway from Assyria For the remnant of His people who will be left, Just as there was for Israel In the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.

*** The changes in surface structure will facilitate the circulation pattern of sea waters and atmospheric currents to moderate climate and produce great fertility:

Isa 35:1 The wilderness and the parched land shall be glad; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

Isa 35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice, even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon; they shall see the glory of the LORD, the excellency of our God.

Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

Isa 35:6 Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

Isa 35:7 And the parched land shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the habitation of jackals herds shall lie down, it shall be an enclosure for reeds and rushes. [JPS]

*** A miracle similar to the water from the rock in Moses’ day will convert the Dead Sea and utilize its stored riches:

Zec 14:8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.

Eze 47:1 Then he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, water was flowing from under the threshold of the house [TEMPLE] toward the east, for the house faced east. And the water was flowing down from under, from the right side of the house, from south of the altar.

Eze 47:8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the [Dead] sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

Eze 47:9 And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Eze 47:10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many. [KJV]

*** The exact location of Eneglaim [“Spring of the Two Calves”] is unknown, but En-gedi [Spring of the Wild Goat] is an oasis near the Dead Sea, about halfway up it.

Great changes will occur along the river that flows on down to the Gulf of Aqaba:

Eze 47:12 "By the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing."

Eze 36:34 "The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by.

Eze 36:35 "They will say, 'This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.'

Eze 36:36 "Then the nations that are left round about you will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I, the LORD, have spoken and will do it."

*** The revamping of parts of the present reborn nation of Israel, and the productivity there, are a small foretaste of what is ahead in the World to Come!

Amo 9:13 "Behold, the days come," says the LORD, "that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.

*** In the Millenium, a major change will be that Satan, the “Prince of this World” and the
”Prince of the Power of the Air” [Eph. 2:2] will be put out of commission!

Rev 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

Rev 20:3 and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

Isa 66:23 "And it shall be from new moon to new moon And from sabbath to sabbath, All mankind will come to bow down before Me," says the LORD.

Zec 14:16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths [Sukkot].

Eze 44:24 "In a dispute they shall take their stand to judge; they shall judge it according to My ordinances. They shall also keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed feasts and sanctify My sabbaths.

*** The “people of the land [haEretz]” will have a protocol for worshipping in the Outer Court:

Eze 46:1 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "The gate of the inner court facing east shall be shut the six working days; but it shall be opened on the sabbath day and opened on the day of the new moon.

Eze 46:3 "The people of the land shall also worship at the doorway of that gate before the LORD on the sabbaths and on the new moons.

Eze 46:9 "But when the people of the land come before the LORD at the appointed feasts, he who enters by way of the north gate to worship shall go out by way of the south gate. And he who enters by way of the south gate shall go out by way of the north gate. No one shall return by way of the gate by which he entered but shall go straight out.

*** WHAT IF….an artist took the internal evidence found in the latter part of Ezekiel and elsewhere and put it on paper?

*** Conclusion: the peoples of the earth will follow exactly what is in the Torah—nothing added, nothing deleted; there will be no inventing of new “doctrine” or denominations.

Isa 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, The LORD is our lawgiver, The LORD is our king; He will save us--

Isa 33:24 And no resident will say, "I am sick"; The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.

Mar 2:9 "Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven'; or to say, 'Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk'?

Isa 35:4 Say to those with anxious heart, "Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you."

Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.

Isa 35:6 Then the lame will leap like a deer, And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy--

Exo 15:26 And He said, If you carefully listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and do what is right in His eyes, and you give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not put on you all the diseases which I have put on Egypt; for I am Jehovah your Healer. [LITV]

*** What will be the key innovation that will promote unity among different peoples?

Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. [KJV]

*** What type of economy?….Almost always, the way of life is portrayed in agricultural terms!

Mic 4:3 And He will judge between many peoples And render decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they will hammer their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they train for war.

Mic 4:4 But they shall each one sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and there shall be no trembling. For the mouth of Jehovah of Hosts has spoken. [LITV]

Jer 31:12 "They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion, And they will be radiant over the bounty of the LORD-- Over the grain and the new wine and the oil, And over the young of the flock and the herd; And their life will be like a watered garden, And they will never languish again.

Isa 25:6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

*** A true economy is one that is based on the produce of the land. There should be no inflation, speculation, or gambling with people’s assets.

Hag 2:7 'I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD of hosts.

Zec 8:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Zec 8:5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
