Rev 18:23  And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Rev 18:24  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.  (KJV)

Rev 18:24  "And in her was found the blood of prophets and set-apart ones, and of all who were slain on the earth."  (TS98)

Rev 18:24  and the blood of prophets and saints, and all those slaughtered on earth, was found in you.  (HCSB)

Rev 18:12  The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

Rev 18:13  And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (KJV)

Rev 18:13  and cinnamon and spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep, and cargoes of horses and chariots and slaves and human lives.

(NASB)

The passages above relate the effects that the judgment of moos-tay-ree-on Babylon has on the merchants of the earth. These three verses tell us very vividly what the merchants of the earth are marketing that Moos-tay-ree-on Babylon is buying!! This is an astounding insight into the economic nature of Mystery Babylon!!!

G4983  σῶμα  so'-mah

Thayer Definition:

1) the body both of men or animals

1a) a dead body or corpse

1b) the living body

1b1) of animals

2) the bodies of planets and of stars (heavenly bodies)

G4983  σῶμα  so'-mah occurs 142 times in the Brit Chadassah, (n.t.), as body 128 times, as bodies 11 times, as slaves 1 time!!!

The Koine Greek word for slave is “doulos”

If scripture is God breathed the picture we need to be getting is that actual bodies/body parts are a big business in babylon before her destruction. If slavery were the issue then the Ruach Ha’Kodesh would have used the word “doulos”.

The merchants of earth are mourning the loss of the market of selling bodies/body parts

Several months ago I commented that our country has sunk to its lowest moral depth yet by harvesting and selling body parts from aborted babies. That's right. An entire industry has grown out of killing unborn children. Not only are the baby butchers collecting millions of dollars from this hideous practice, so are baby-parts wholesalers.

According to Wendy Griffith at CBN News, "Wholesalers, like the Anatomic Gift Foundation, headquartered in Laurel, Maryland, place workers or technicians inside abortion clinics to 'harvest' fetal tissue and organs for researchers such as universities and pharmaceutical companies. The wholesalers or middleman pays the abortion clinic for access to the aborted babies. They call it a 'site fee.' The researcher then pays the wholesaler for the parts, and since it's illegal to sell baby parts, they call it a 'fee for services,' technically skirting the law."

A sampling of actual catalogs reveals advertised prices for various body parts, not excluding whole cadavers. Examples:

Adding insult to injury is the fact that you and I are paying for much of this with our tax dollars via the National Institutes of Health. The justification used for this Nazi-like practice is "medical research." Under this guise, aborted babies are used as guinea pigs in public university and pharmaceutical laboratories. At least one governor is steaming mad about it, too.

Gov. Mike Johanns sent a letter to the University of Nebraska officials asking them to stop using baby body parts for research at the NU Medical Center. University officials have indicated they will "discuss it." One member of the NU Board of Regents, Chuck Hasselbrook, is quoted as saying he doesn't have a problem with the research. Other board members agreed with Hasselbrook or refused to answer reporters' questions, according to a story in the Omaha World-Herald.

Some on Capitol Hill also profess to be concerned. Yesterday, the House Commerce Committee conducted (un-televised) hearings to investigate this pernicious practice. (Then again, Congress has conducted copious hearings to investigate the atrocities at Waco. That has accomplished a whole bunch, hasn't it?)

I can think of nothing that insults and degrades the conscience and soul of America like this does. Allowing such a practice to legally transpire (with tax monies, no less) attacks our morals and culture in an unprecedented manner. Yet, where is the outrage? Where is the public outcry?

A recent caller to my talk show might have it right. He suggested the problem is America no longer has a conscience. You can't offend a seared conscience, he opined. Maybe he's right. Maybe we, as a nation, have lost our conscience. If this doesn't offend us (and it obviously doesn't) nothing will.

Baby Parts for Sale
A batch of eyes by UPS – 30 livers by FedEx

By J. C. Willke, MD

After fighting abortion for 30 years I thought I had seen and heard it all, but not so. Here is a new development, a coordinated high-tech industry functioning for the specific purpose of obtaining and selling high-quality fetal organs for research.

Partial-Birth abortions seemed to be so horrible that most of us wondered how such procedures could be defended. Many of us chalked it up to the fact that the pro-abortion advocates and the abortion industry didn't want to give one inch for fear that their whole house of cards will fold. I, among others, felt that their resistance to forbidding this gruesome procedure was a fear of a domino effect. If we stopped this one, then we'd stop the next and the next and the next and they didn't want it to start. But now we have evidence of a very clear additional reason why they want these late-term abortions to continue. The reason is that this is the one method that gives them intact fetal bodies from which they can obtain organs for research.

The other method of late-term abortion, D&E (Dilatation and Evacuation), involves reaching up into the uterus and dismembering the live baby. This delivers pieces of macerated organs that are usually unsuitable for fetal research, transplantation etc. This may be the main reason for their vehement defense of the practice of Partial-Birth abortion.

The story was broken recently by Life Dynamics under the guidance of its director, Mark Crutcher. A lady came to him with a story, which he has verified. The name of the informant cannot be revealed, as she is still involved in the work that she has exposed. Her story is dramatically recorded in a video just released by Life Dynamics. In it, this woman under the pseudonym, Kelly, tells her story. Her back is to the camera and her voice is electronically altered to prevent her identification. She worked for “an outside source, hired with a team to go in [to late term abortion clinics] to dissect and procure fetal tissue for high-quality sales.” Read on as Kelly describes her macabre profession. “What we did was to have a contract with an abortion clinic that would allow us to go there on certain days. We would get a generated list each day to tell us what tissue researchers, pharmaceutical companies and universities were looking for. Then we would examine the patient charts. We would screen out the ones we didn't want.

We did not use specimens that had STDs [sexually transmitted diseases] or fetal abnormalities. We only wanted the most perfect specimens that we could give to the researchers.” And the age of these babies? The victims were up to and over 30-weeks gestation. “We were looking for eyes, livers, brains, thymuses [lymphoid tissue], cardiac blood, cord blood, blood from the liver, even blood from the limbs.”

Only an estimated 2% of the late-term aborted babies had abnormalities. “The rest were very healthy. 95% of the time, she was just there to get rid of the baby.” How many of the late-term – the ones around 30 weeks – would you see? “Probably 30 or 40 babies a week.”

Kelly stated, “We would sell the tissue to private contractors. They in turn would sell to other universities and researchers. There was a high demand every week to buy such fetal tissues. It was shipped by UPS, FedEx, Airborne and sometimes by special couriers. Sometimes we would take the specimen in a box to the airport and put it on as regular cargo, to be picked up at the destination.” And did these shipping companies know they were transporting baby parts? “No. All they knew was that it was just human cells. But it could be a completely intact fetus. It might be a batch of eyes, or 30 or 40 livers going out that day, or thymuses

And the leftover parts? “We would usually put this down the garbage disposal along with the placenta and the leftover blood material. If it was too large to go down the drain, they had a special freezer and when they accumulated 60 or 70 fetuses in one box, it would be picked up for incineration.”

Human Body Parts For Sale

Media Monitor  |  By Reed Irvine and Cliff Kincaid

In a development that made national news, the online auction EBay recently featured a human kidney for sale. The bidding hit $5.7 million by the time the company put a stop to it. Some observers said both the offer and the bid was a prank. The commercial sale of human body parts is illegal. Well, we’ve come upon some other human organs being put up for sale, in real transactions that have been documented, and we’re quite certain you haven’t heard or read anything about it. This is because these are human organs from aborted babies

This cover-up on aborted baby parts probably has more to do with ideology than anything else. The abortion industry has traditionally been spared serious scrutiny because it is perceived to be serving women’s needs. That position can be maintained only as long as the aborted babies are considered to be non-human and without value. But they are valuable enough to be bringing in big money. One price list offers a spinal cord for $325. A brain goes for $999.

These materials have been brought to our attention by a pro-life group called Life Dynamics Incorporated, based in Denton, Texas. They have produced a video and special report documenting what their spies have discovered in the abortion industry. After a two-year undercover investigation, they have obtained and released copies of purchase orders, price lists and sales brochures involving the business of harvesting and selling of aborted baby parts.

One document, a brochure from an Illinois company, explains why this particular “service” has grown so large in recent years: “On January 22, 1993, President Clinton lifted the moratorium on federal funding of research involving transplantation of fetal tissue from induced abortions. This action created a great demand for fetal tissue and has made possible the development of treatments for individuals afflicted with serious diseases and disorders.”

The brochure goes on to say, “Our fee for service is very attractive and lower than the industry average. Our specimens vary widely in range but not limited to those listed below: liver, spleen, pancreas. intestines, kidney, brain, lungs and heart block, spinal column and many more with appropriate discounts that apply if specimen is significantly fragmented.” The brochure says that “fresh fetal tissue” is “harvested and shipped to your specifications - where and when you need it.”

Although the sale of human body parts is supposed to be illegal, the sellers are getting around this prohibition by having the fetal tissue “donated” to them. They pay a “site fee” to the abortion clinics so they can place their employees in there to harvest the material. Researchers then obtain the tissue by paying not for the cost of the body part, but for the cost of retrieval.

There's money in the business of body parts

By Robert Davis, USA TODAY

In a basement of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, in an office near the morgue, Ronn Wade's phone rings with yet another request for body parts.

The caller, a body broker, says doctors are traveling to a hotel where they will practice surgical techniques with new instruments. The course's sponsors need bodies.

This is not an unusual event. Seminars such as this take place throughout the country to give doctors needed experience with new instruments or surgical techniques

And this is not an unusual call. Wade, director of the Maryland Anatomy Board, has a lot of bodies: state residents who donated their bodies, now carefully tucked away, unembalmed, in coolers. Body brokers call him several times a week.

These brokers are people who profit by providing bodies and body parts for medical research, and they come in many different forms. They might be representatives of tissue banks or companies that act as intermediaries between those who have bodies, such as medical centers, and those who need them, such as sponsors of surgical seminars.

Federal law prohibits the sale of human organs and tissue for transplantation. The law is widely considered a total ban on the sale of all body parts, although it does not specifically address the conveyance of parts for medical education and research.

In any event, those who act as go-betweens, including organ recovery agencies, may charge for their work. Some are conscientious professionals who help provide research cadavers. But others are van-driving entrepreneurs who walk a thin line between legitimacy and lawlessness.

A recent scandal at the University of California-Los Angeles, in which two men, including the director of UCLA's Willed Body Program, were arrested on charges of selling stolen body parts for their own profit, has turned a national spotlight on an industry that operates in the dark: the largely unregulated acquisition and dissemination of body parts for medical and scientific research.

This is one more clue that points to America as being the LITERAL fulfillment of the Mystery Babylon prophecies!!

By a bit of simple study, and looking at a word in the original in several verses we can see a quite different meaning emerge, after all words mean things.

Instead of the last two phrases of Rev.18-13 being figurative or symbolic, we can instead readily see a literal fulfillment without having to resort to mangling words and depart from the original meaning of the text.

Has modern American medicine advanced to the place that America is a marketplace for the organs of individuals from Red China, and other parts of Asia and other third world countries?

There are claims that China collects prisoners who are then killed when an organ bank or organ broker provides a buyer with certain medical criteria that matches that of the tissues of the prisoner

There is also an emerging new issue and use for bodies and body parts as it relates to the issue of DNA research and cloning which is now moving into high gear.

Some of this activity is operating under the umbrella of, or the notion of saving mankind!!!

Still the point of the matter is that these activities underscore and further provide evidence that America is indeed involved in marketing the bodies of men and therefore the souls  (psoo-kay) of men.
