YHWH’s
way (Gods
way)
Luk
24:44
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you,
while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written
in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms,
concerning me.
Luk
24:45
Then opened he their
understanding,
that they might understand
the Scriptures,
Luk
24:25
Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that
the prophets have spoken:
Luk
24:26
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his
glory?
Luk
24:27
And beginning at Moses
and all the prophets,
he expounded unto them in all the Scriptures
the things concerning himself.
Joh
5:45 Do not think that I will
accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even
Moses, in whom ye trust.
Joh
5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye
would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
Joh
5:47 But if ye believe not his
writings, how shall ye believe my words?
How serious is this statement made by YHWH in the flesh???
Do
we get it how weighty this statement is????
Mat
23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay
tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier
matters of the law,
judgment,
mercy,
and faith:
these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Mat
23:24 Ye blind
guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Gen 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Gen
18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which
I do;
Gen
18:18
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and
all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Gen
18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his
household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice
and judgment;
that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Concerning
our word judgement (G2920
κρίσις
kree'-sis)
We see in Abraham’s life it meant Abrahams deepest heartfelt desire was to value the same things YHWH God valued!!
Could judgement, one of the weightier matters of the the
Torah
(law) spoken of by Yeshua be the lifelong process of learning to value the same
things YHWH God values?
#1
That
we like Abraham understand
how
He loves us
#2
That
we like Abraham understand
that serving things other than YHWH God naturally brings decay and
death.
#3
That
we like Abraham understand
that He is holy and set apart and not like the gods of this world.
#4That
we like Abraham understand the magnitude of
doing things YHWH Gods way
But
what about those sacrifices???
What
possible value or understanding could be gained from animal sacrifice?
After
all, have they not been done away with?
Should
we even concern ourselves with the thought??
Zec
14:20
In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO
THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowls before the
altar.
Zec
14:21
Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD
of hosts: and all
they
that sacrifice
(H2076
jbzzaw-bakh')
shall
come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that
day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD
of hosts.
H2076
jbz zaw-bakh'
A primitive root; to slaughter an animal (usually in
sacrifice): - kill, offer, (do) sacrifice, slay.
Eze
40:42
And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of
a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high:
whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt
offering
and the sacrifice
(H2077
jbzzeh-bakh')
.
H2077
jbz zeh'-bakh
From
H2076; properly a slaughter, that is, the flesh of an animal; by
implication a sacrifice (the victim or the act): - offer (-ing),
sacrifice.
Eze
44:11
Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having
charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay
the burnt offering and the sacrifice
(H2077
jbz zeh'-bakh)
for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice (H2077 jbz zeh'-bakh) and the oblation (H4503 hjnm min-khaw') to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
H4503
hjnm min-khaw'
specifically
a sacrificial offering (usually bloodless and voluntary): - gift, oblation,
(meat) offering, present, sacrifice.
What
could the sacrificial system have possibly been about???
What aspect of Judgemnt Mercy or Faith could possibly be learned from
them???
Taking a
closer look
Lev
1:2 Speak unto the children of
Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering
unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the
herd, and of the flock.
Lev
1:3
If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a
male without blemish: he
shall offer it of his own voluntary will
at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
What
type of individual would voluntarily slaughter and sacrifice in this fashion???
Knowing that these sacrifices did not cover willful intentional sin.
Example
David, Moses
Only
a committed individual!!!
What
would such an individual be committed to???

h=

l=
leader shepherd
The
word picture:
The Shepherd of our faith, our Leader,
wants
to reveal some very important knowledge, something we desperately need to see,in
the Olah offering.
There
are two types of Olah sacrifices
one
offered by individuals
one
offered on behalf of the community (morning&evening lambs)
Three
classes of animals were used
Herding animals
Flocking
animals
Birds
Neither
priests nor
giver were allowed to eat any part of it
The Olah was not an offering for sin,
it was completely consumed on the altar
Individuals would lay their
hands on the sacrifice prior to the death of the animal.
When the animal was killed, the head was burned immediately.
The
shanks and the entrails were washed before
burning.
The
idea of the sacrifices may seem difficult for contemporary man to accept, it is
the commandment of the Holy One.
The
death and burning of the animal on the fire altar gave the offerer a strong
visual symbolization of what he himself deserves, were God to judge him
severely, with the exacting scrutiny of unmitigated justice. The sacrifice
reminds us of how God does not deal with us
The sacrifices could be misconstrued to indicate that the God who commands these offerings does so as a vengeful, bloodthirsty deity who demands a sacrifice as reparation.
This kind of thinking is nothing more than the illusions of a pagan concept of God as an unforgiving God who accepts the struggling death throws of an animal as a substitute for the forfeited life of a human being.
Those
who think of the God of the old testament as a blood-thirsty God
have the wrong concept of a God who beckons to us to raise ourselves
above the animals and dedicate ourselves to Him.
